We had a Merry Christmas this year-we hope you did too! Sorry for the lack of pictures this year, sometimes it is just difficult to get them done while doing everything else. Christmas time is always full of magic, fun, and lots to do. We love to decorate and try to really get into the season with our family traditions. We make lots of treats, including carmel popcorn to give to friends-one of our favorites (an old Lundgren tradition). We visited lights around town including our central park which always has a wonderful display throughout the large park with treats to eats and live music. We also visited Santa's Wonderland just outside of town where we took a hayride through 2.5 million lights. They have pretend snow, treats, music, and a big bonfire. They also have a petting zoo and the kids had fun...until the goats came after them!!! Collin is really into animals and was so excited but nervous to get too close. We tried to add service to our season this year and looked for ways to add meaning to the Stewart Christmas. We also had a super fun Christmas party on Christmas Eve with good friends the Drakes and Bradfords. We had a delicious dinner thanks to all the moms (and Honeybaked Ham - an old Stewart tradition), played games, read the Christmas story from the scriptures, and did a service project. The Bradfords went home as the Tiddely Winks champions and the Drakes were the Trivia champions...the Stewarts ...well there is always next year! It was a great night and we were so glad they shared it with us!! The kids were so excited for Christmas morning-Caroline could barely sleep. They woke up at 7:00am and we had fun seeing what Santa brought and the cookies he ate. We played the rest of the day and talked to family. We had a wonderful holiday season!!!!!
