Ice Skating

In the center of our town is a temporary skating rink-it really is as charming as it sounds!   We have been so excited to try it out-the kids have never ice skated before.  With a day off of school, that just happened to be beautiful and warmer (not warm but warmer then minus zero!), we found our chance.  We met our great friends the Jacksons' and had a great time learning to skate---everyone has several bruises from the many many falls but it was so much fun and the kids really got better by the end.  We can't wait to go again!

Yes, that is Collin in the background on the ice.....this picture really captures the day.  The joy of ice skating and the agony of the attempt!  And yes, they are wearing bike helmets...we really needed them.
