In March the kindergarteners at Caroline's school celebrated Texas Day, they teach them young here. In the morning, Romney, the boys, and I went to the kids' Texas Program where they sang all sorts of fun songs with actions. Caroline's favortie was the one where they would howl like a coyote. My favorite was the last song where the boys would sing about working the range and the girls would respond with silly remarks. It was a really cute day full of horse races (horses on a broomstick), saddling up your haystack, cowboy races, wagon rides, and others. At the end of the day, Mrs. Conn served up some Armadillo Chili (after the children's book)...Caroline was very skeptical thinking that the chili was really full of questionable ingredients! She is officially a Texan!
